About the role

We are seeking reliable and confident Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in the Havering area of East London. The role offers immediate start and ongoing short‑term assignments, ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers or experienced education staff looking to gain classroom experience.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise classes during teacher absence.
• Deliver pre‑set lesson plans and maintain lesson flow.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Ensure a safe, focused and positive learning environment.
• Provide feedback to teaching staff at the end of each lesson.

Required profile

• Previous experience working with young people (school‑based experience desirable).
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Confidence working across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Professional, flexible and proactive approach.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
