About the role
We are seeking reliable Cover Supervisors to provide short‑term classroom cover in secondary schools across Tunbridge Wells. This role is ideal for individuals who want classroom experience without the responsibility of lesson planning, and for those considering a future teaching career.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise lessons using materials prepared by the class teacher.
- Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Keep students engaged and focused during cover periods.
- Support schools with day‑to‑day cover requirements on an as‑needed basis.
Required profile
- Confidence working with secondary‑aged students.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a dependable, flexible approach.
- Willingness to obtain or hold an enhanced DBS check.
