Cover Supervisor – Flexible Part‑Time (£100‑£120 per day)

About the role

Reeson Education is seeking a Cover Supervisor for a secondary school in Shepperton. The role is flexible, part‑time and paid daily, allowing you to step in at short notice and deliver lessons to a high standard.

Key responsibilities

• Provide cover for registration and deliver lessons left by the regular cover, often with limited preparation and short notice.
• Manage groups of up to 30 secondary‑school students independently, ensuring a high standard of work delivery.
• Maintain a positive learning climate using the school’s Gold Classroom standards and behaviour policies.
• Support students’ self‑esteem through praise, encouragement and constructive interaction.
• Assist in developing and implementing SEN support plans where required.

Required profile

• Degree holder or aspiring teacher.
• Interest in and knowledge of autism.
• Experience managing distressed or challenging behaviours.
• Ability to solve problems quickly and remain calm under pressure.

Required skills

• Basic IT literacy with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
