Cover Supervisor for Secondary School (11‑18)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Cover Supervisor to join an outstanding secondary school in North West London. You will provide day‑to‑day classroom cover for Years 7‑11, delivering pre‑planned lessons and ensuring a positive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Cover a variety of lessons across the school day, following the teacher’s prepared materials.
• Maintain classroom behaviour and uphold school policies.
• Support the teaching team by delivering consistent, high‑quality instruction.
• Collaborate with a dedicated cover team, focusing on subject areas where you have strength or interest.

Required profile

• Experience in a secondary school setting or a graduate keen to work in education.
• Strong desire to work with pupils aged 11‑18 and progress towards qualified teacher status.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Caring, passionate approach focused on student welfare and achievement.
