Cover Supervisor

About the role
Bruntcliffe Academy is looking for a dedicated Cover Supervisor to ensure continuity of learning when teachers are absent. You will work across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, using the academy’s resources to deliver consistent, high‑quality lessons.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver planned and unplanned lessons across a range of subjects and year groups.
- Follow supplied teaching resources and maintain the academy’s standards.
- Support the smooth running of the school by providing reliable cover.
- Adapt quickly to different classroom situations and student needs.
Required profile
- GCSE English and Mathematics at Grade 4 (C) or above, or equivalent.
- Experience working with young people and a genuine passion for education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible, resilient and able to build positive relationships with pupils.
