Cover Supervisor – Part‑time Temporary

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Cover Supervisor to join a mixed secondary school and sixth‑form in South West London on a part‑time, daily supply basis. This temporary role offers an excellent daily rate and flexible working patterns within an ‘Outstanding’ academy.

Key responsibilities

• Cover a variety of classes across mixed secondary and sixth‑form settings when teachers are absent.
• Maintain pupil behaviour, promote positive conduct and enforce the school’s behaviour policy.
• Engage actively with pupils to support learning and classroom dynamics.
• Carry out basic ICT tasks and administrative duties such as attendance recording.
• Adapt quickly to different subjects and year groups, demonstrating flexibility and a positive attitude.

Required profile

• Right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS (up‑to‑date).
• UK Bachelor’s degree or overseas equivalent.
• Experience working with children/teenagers or previous cover‑supervising in UK schools.

Required skills

• Good understanding of ICT.
