About the role
Vida Education is seeking enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools in Blackpool and surrounding areas. No prior classroom experience is required – we provide free training to help you confidently manage a classroom in a teacher’s absence.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise whole classes independently during teacher absence
- Deliver pre‑set lesson work without needing to plan new lessons
- Manage behaviour and keep students engaged
- Maintain a positive and productive learning environment
Required profile
- Experience working with young people (essential)
- Confident, proactive and able to lead a classroom
- Strong communication and behaviour‑management skills
- Genuine interest in education
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
