About the role
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to provide short‑term classroom cover for the secondary phase of a dynamic all‑through academy in Harrow. The role offers flexible contract options and the possibility of longer‑term placements for those who can commit to extended periods.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise whole classes during teachers' short‑term absences.
- Deliver pre‑prepared lesson plans and keep students engaged and on task.
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
- Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour.
Required profile
- Previous experience working with young people in a school or community setting.
- Confidence in managing a classroom independently.
- Ability to maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
