Cover Supervisor – Secondary Schools in Cambridgeshire

About the role
Reed is recruiting enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to lead lessons in secondary schools across Cambridgeshire when the class teacher is absent. The role offers flexible part‑time or full‑time assignments, allowing you to gain valuable classroom experience while supporting student learning.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver lessons using the school’s lesson plans and resources.
- Maintain student engagement and on‑task behaviour throughout the session.
- Manage classroom dynamics and ensure a safe learning environment.
- Adapt quickly to a variety of subjects and year groups (ages 11‑18).
Required profile
- A degree (essential).
- Strong communication and classroom management abilities.
- Confidence leading groups of students aged 11‑16 or 11‑18.
- Professional, adaptable, reliable approach with a genuine interest in education.
