Cover Supervisor – Secondary Schools (Milton Keynes)

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to deliver pre‑planned lessons across a range of secondary schools in Milton Keynes from September 2026. This flexible role offers day‑to‑day, short‑term and long‑term placements to suit your availability.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver pre‑planned lessons when the regular teacher is absent.
• Manage classroom behaviour and keep pupils engaged with learning.
• Support students in completing set work while maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Follow school policies and health‑and‑safety procedures.

Required profile

• Experience working with young people in education, coaching, youth work or a similar setting.
• Excellent communication and classroom management abilities.
• Confident, adaptable and able to build positive relationships with students and staff.
• Degree or relevant experience (desirable but not essential).
• Willingness to obtain an enhanced DBS check and provide references.
