Cover Supervisor (Unqualified Teacher) – Secondary Schools

About the role

We are seeking motivated individuals to work as Cover Supervisors in secondary schools across Blackpool and the Fylde Coast. This position provides hands‑on classroom experience for graduates, aspiring teachers, or anyone with a passion for supporting young people.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver pre‑set lesson material to students aged 11‑16.
• Maintain a focused and engaged learning environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with each school’s policies.
• Provide basic support to students and answer questions as needed.
• Report progress and any issues to the regular teaching staff.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
• Calm, organised approach with the ability to manage a classroom.
• Proactive and adaptable attitude.
• Experience working with young people (desirable but not essential).
• Genuine interest in education and student development.
