About the role
Prospero Teaching is seeking an enthusiastic Cover Teacher to support secondary‑age students across a range of subjects in Harrow, London. This full‑time, temporary position runs from September 2, 2026 until the end of the academic year, offering day‑to‑day classroom coverage.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver lesson plans and maintain continuity of learning for assigned classes.
- Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe learning environment.
- Adapt teaching materials to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Collaborate with permanent staff to assess student progress.
Required profile
- Experience working with children and young people.
- A degree (any discipline).
- Up‑to‑date safeguarding training (issued within the last year).
- Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Two professional references covering the last two years.
