CQC Registered Manager – Residential Service Lead

About the role

As a CQC Registered Manager you will lead a residential service for learning disabled adults, ensuring they feel valued, independent and in control of their daily lives. You will guide a dedicated team to deliver person‑centred support while maintaining a safe, inclusive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the team to provide safe, person‑centred support that promotes independence and well‑being.
• Maintain regulatory and internal standards, ensuring quality, compliance and safety.
• Hold and maintain CQC registration for allocated residential services.
• Manage budgets, resources and staffing to sustain strong services.
• Build trusting relationships with service users, families, colleagues and external partners.
• Support recruitment, induction, training, supervision and appraisal processes.
• Be a visible, proactive leader, including on‑call duties as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a CQC‑regulated residential service for learning disabled adults.
• Ability to hold CQC registration.
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Adult Care (or commitment to achieve within 18 months).
• Strong leadership, communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Proactive, solution‑focused approach to challenges.
• Valid driving licence and flexibility to travel across services.
