Creative SEND Teacher – KS2 ARP (Full‑time)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Creative SEND Teacher to join a welcoming one‑form entry primary school in Barnet. The role is based within the school’s Alternative Resource Provision (ARP) for Key Stage 2, supporting pupils with autism and additional needs in a structured, nurturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of SEN pupils.
• Provide targeted support for children with autism, ensuring progress and wellbeing.
• Maintain effective behaviour management strategies and promote positive classroom culture.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and multidisciplinary teams to develop inclusive practices.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting interventions as required.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Previous experience working within an ARP provision.
• Strong experience supporting children with autism.
• Confidence in delivering differentiated learning.
• Excellent behaviour management and communication skills.
• Passion for inclusive education and pupil progress.
