Credit Analyst – Customer Onboarding

About the role

This Credit Analyst role sits within a high‑performing Sales Ledger function and focuses on onboarding and approving new customers across multiple regions. You will own the end‑to‑end approval process, ensuring applications are reviewed thoroughly and processed efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Review new account requests and supporting documentation.
• Conduct credit and risk assessments and verify contracts against governance requirements.
• Create and maintain customer records in finance systems.
• Manage a centralised new‑customer mailbox and respond to internal and external queries.
• Track customer requests through to completion and keep accurate records.
• Liaise with Credit Controllers, Operations, Risk Management teams and customers as needed.
• Produce reports and analyse approval activity.
• Support monthly counter‑party reviews and customer data maintenance.
• Contribute to process‑improvement projects, system integrations and business‑change initiatives.

Required profile

• Previous experience in Credit, Sales Ledger, Finance Administration, Customer Onboarding, or a graduate qualification in Accounting & Finance.
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach.
• Confidence reviewing contracts and analysing financial information.
• Excellent organisational, time‑management and communication skills.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to identify and escalate potential risks.
