Credit Control & Accounts Assistant

About the role

Join a well‑established, multi‑site organisation as a Credit Control & Accounts Assistant. You will split your time between managing customer balances and providing broader transactional finance support, working four days on‑site and one day from home.

Key responsibilities

• Manage outstanding customer balances and chase overdue payments.
• Maintain accurate customer accounts, allocate receipts and resolve queries.
• Assist with purchase ledger processing, supplier account administration and BACS payment runs.
• Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Process income from on‑site concession partners and support the wider finance team.

Required profile

• Previous experience in credit control or accounts receivable.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
• Dependable, accurate and comfortable balancing customer contact with transactional duties.

Required skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP).
• Experience with Sage or EPOS finance systems.
