Credit Control Manager – Manufacturing

About the role

Join a well‑established food wholesaler as the Credit Control Manager, leading a close‑knit finance team in a manufacturing environment. Based in Bournemouth, you will oversee the full credit control cycle, ensuring timely debt collection and accurate customer account management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operations of the credit control team.
• Oversee debt collection, payment allocation and customer account reconciliations.
• Assess, monitor and recommend appropriate credit limits to minimise financial risk.
• Prepare month‑end credit reports and provide regular updates to senior management.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Credit Controller, Credit Manager or similar role within manufacturing or a related sector.
• Ability to lead a small finance team and work autonomously.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.

Required skills

• Credit control and debt collection.
• Account reconciliation and cash allocation.
• Credit risk assessment and credit limit management.
• Month‑end reporting.
