Credit Control Specialist (Hybrid)

About the role

The Credit Control Specialist will join a dynamic finance team in Walton‑on‑Thames, working three days a week on‑site and the remainder remotely. This permanent position focuses on managing outstanding customer balances, protecting cash flow and supporting the broader credit function.

Key responsibilities

• Contact customers to chase outstanding debts and record all details on their accounts.
• Reconcile accounts to ensure all invoices have been processed by customers.
• Monitor credit‑stopped orders throughout the day and take appropriate action.
• Track and maintain credit limits at required levels.
• Analyse customer payment patterns to identify potential cash‑flow issues.
• Log customer queries and ensure timely resolution.
• Process New Account Proposal Forms promptly to enable swift credit decisions.
• Carry out ad‑hoc projects as requested by the Financial Controller.
