Credit Controller – Finance Role in Glasgow

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join a global business‑travel company operating from its UK office in Glasgow. The role involves managing customer accounts, collecting outstanding payments and supporting the finance team to maintain healthy cash flow.

Key responsibilities

• Manage customer accounts and proactively collect overdue payments.
• Build strong relationships with clients to resolve queries and keep account balances healthy.
• Monitor aged debt, identify payment risks and take appropriate action.
• Allocate payments, reconcile accounts and issue client statements.
• Collaborate closely with finance and operations teams to improve processes.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in credit control or debt collection.
• Proven ability to manage customer accounts and invoicing.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Effective communication skills for client interaction.
