Credit Controller – Full‑time Permanent Role

About the role
We are seeking a motivated Credit Controller to join our client’s finance team in Biggleswade on a permanent, full‑time basis. You will play a key part in maintaining healthy cash flow and supporting the credit management process.
Key responsibilities
- Perform credit checks on new account applications.
- Manage the cash collection process and follow up on overdue payments.
- Handle order approvals, credit holds and maintain customer account records.
- Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly financial reports.
- Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accurate cash balances.
- Provide assistance to other team members as required.
Required profile
- Previous experience in credit control or a related finance function.
- Excellent communication and customer relationship abilities.
- IT literate with confidence using standard office software.
- Team‑player who can collaborate across departments.
