Credit Controller (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join the Finance team at Ingram Micro UK in Milton Keynes. Working on a non‑negotiable three‑day hybrid schedule, you will manage a portfolio of key customer accounts, collaborate with sales and finance, and help drive cash collection performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage timely collection of customer debt across a portfolio of key accounts.
• Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve queries and improve payment performance.
• Review held orders, make decisions to support order release and minimise risk.
• Investigate and resolve escalated customer queries and complaints.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Credit Risk and third‑party collections provider on complex accounts.
• Produce debtor reporting, cash forecasts and other working capital reports.
• Identify and implement process improvements.

Required profile

• Experience in Credit Control, Accounts Receivable or a similar finance role.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Strong analytical ability and confidence interpreting financial information.
• Proactive approach with the capacity to manage priorities and own issues to resolution.

Required skills

• Excel (including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP).
