Credit Controller – Hybrid Working (Epsom)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Credit Controller to join a reputable company in Epsom on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. The role blends office‑based work with three days a week on‑site, offering a hybrid working pattern. You will be responsible for managing customer credit, chasing overdue payments and supporting the finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Contact customers to chase outstanding debts and record all interactions.
• Reconcile accounts to ensure invoices are processed correctly.
• Monitor credit‑stopped orders throughout the day and take appropriate action.
• Maintain and review credit limits to ensure they are set at appropriate levels.
• Analyse customer payment patterns to identify potential cash‑flow issues.
• Log and resolve customer queries promptly.
• Process New Account Proposal Forms quickly and ensure timely credit decisions.
• Assist the Financial Controller with ad‑hoc projects as required.
