About the role
We are looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join a trusted client’s finance team in Colchester. The role focuses on maximising debt recovery and maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal colleagues.
Key responsibilities
- Contact customers to arrange payment of outstanding invoices.
- Process debtor invoices through the finance system.
- Chase overdue accounts via telephone, email and post.
- Resolve customer queries quickly and accurately.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the business to support overall finance operations.
Required profile
- Proven experience in credit control and debt collection.
- Strong communication skills at all organisational levels.
- Resilient and able to adapt to changing priorities.
Required skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
