Credit Controller

About the role

We are looking for a Credit Controller to join our small, dynamic finance team at Tildenet in Bristol. The role offers exposure to a fast‑paced, international business and the chance to develop a broad finance skill set.

Key responsibilities

• Manage credit control processes and maintain customer relationships.
• Reconcile multi‑currency bank accounts (GBP, EUR) and support intercompany reconciliations.
• Upload invoices to customer EDI systems and ensure accuracy.
• Prepare and report the daily cash position.
• Assist with month‑end management accounts, audit preparation and purchase ledger cover.
• Support supplier and expense payment processing and contribute to finance process improvements.

Required profile

• 2–3 years’ experience in a finance or accounts role.
• Previous exposure to credit control and financial administration.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Confident communicator, both written and verbal.
• Positive, proactive attitude and ability to thrive in a busy environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables).
