Credit Controller

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join a leading international consultancy in Mayfair, London. The role is hybrid, offering a professional environment where you will manage client payments, support onboarding, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proactively engage clients to ensure payment requirements are met before invoice due dates.
• Monitor outstanding invoices, follow up according to credit control procedures, and identify payment barriers.
• Act as the primary contact for billing and payment queries, managing the credit control mailbox efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions and credit control activity in NetSuite.
• Support new client onboarding, including vendor portal registration and banking verification.
• Prepare debtor reports and provide regular updates to senior finance stakeholders.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in credit control or billing roles.
• Background in professional services, consultancy, legal, or financial services environments.
• Proven ability to build credibility and strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Solution‑oriented mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• NetSuite (or similar finance system)
