About the role
Join a growing energy‑focused organisation as a Credit Controller based in Ware. You will work within a small, supportive team to manage and recover outstanding debt from domestic customers.
Key responsibilities
- Contact customers by phone to chase overdue payments.
- Investigate billing queries and resolve account discrepancies.
- Set up payment plans and Direct Debits for ongoing usage and existing debt.
- Liaise with internal teams, providing regular updates and reports.
- Work independently while contributing to a close‑knit Credit Control team.
Required profile
- Proven experience in credit control (essential).
- Experience in the utilities or energy sector (desirable).
- Strong numeracy and communication skills.
- Proactive, tenacious and self‑motivated.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel proficiency.
