About the role
We are seeking a Credit Controller to join our busy finance team in Avonmouth. You will be responsible for managing customer accounts, chasing overdue payments and supporting day‑to‑day finance administration.
Key responsibilities
- Chase overdue payments by phone and email
- Prepare and send invoices and credit notes
- Allocate and log incoming payments
- Reconcile accounts and resolve simple discrepancies
- Maintain tidy records and assist with month‑end processes
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve payment issues
- Perform general finance administration tasks
Required profile
- Confident communicator comfortable with payment collection
- Organised with strong attention to detail
- Basic Excel proficiency
- Background in administration or customer service
- Credit control or construction experience is a plus
