Credit Controller – Manage Customer Accounts & Collections

About the role

We are partnering with a well‑established client seeking an experienced Credit Controller to manage a portfolio of customer accounts. The role involves proactive collection of outstanding payments, building strong client relationships, and ensuring payments are received in line with agreed terms.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and proactively collect outstanding payments.
• Build strong relationships with customers, resolving queries and disputes efficiently.
• Reconcile accounts, investigate discrepancies and manage cash allocation.
• Issue invoices, statements, reminder letters and other account documentation.
• Monitor aged debt reports, lead arrears review meetings and provide regular performance updates.
• Collaborate with Finance and internal teams to resolve queries and improve collection KPIs.

Required profile

• At least 1 year recent Credit Control experience, preferably in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong account reconciliation, cash allocation and query‑resolution abilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
• Proactive, self‑motivated and able to work independently.
