Credit Controller – £40-46k + Bonus & Hybrid Working

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to manage commercial rent and service charge recoveries for a portfolio of retail venues, including bars, pubs and restaurants. You will work closely with property managers and tenants to ensure timely payments and maintain healthy cash flow.

Key responsibilities

• Review customer accounts daily and develop action plans for outstanding balances.
• Contact tenants via phone, email and written correspondence to chase overdue invoices.
• Set up and negotiate payment plans in collaboration with tenants and property managers.
• Investigate and resolve invoice queries promptly, liaising with internal teams.
• Post and allocate cash receipts and perform banking duties according to company procedures.

Required profile

• Previous experience in credit control within commercial real estate.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple accounts.

Required skills

• Experience with property management systems such as Qube, Horizon or MRI.
