Credit Controller – Sage Line 50/200 – £36k – Dover

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Credit Controller to join a well‑established, growing company in Dover. This permanent, hybrid role offers the chance to manage customer accounts, support month‑end procedures and work three days in the office with two days from home.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain customer accounts
• Oversee monthly payment collections and reduce aged debt
• Record and allocate incoming payments
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Resolve invoice queries and payment disputes efficiently
• Update monthly ledgers accurately
• Review held orders and monitor credit limits
• Support month‑end procedures and reporting
• Process credit applications and create new accounts
• Liaise with internal departments

Required profile

• Proven experience within a Credit Control position
• Sage Line 50 or 200 experience (essential)
• Collaborative team player with a positive can‑do attitude and confident communication skills
• Self‑motivated with a proactive approach
• Strong IT skills
