Credit Controller – Temporary Full‑time

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join a leading organisation in Milton Keynes on an ongoing temporary basis. The role involves managing dealer accounts, recovering outstanding debt and supporting the finance team to maintain healthy cash flow.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively recover outstanding debt from dealer accounts and ensure timely payment collection.
• Investigate and resolve account queries, escalating non‑payment issues according to company procedures.
• Process credit notes, re‑issue invoices and maintain accurate documentation.
• Attend regular management meetings to review debt and collection activity.
• Handle inbound calls and email correspondence related to overdue accounts.
• Liaise with internal departments to keep account information up to date.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance with company policies.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a Credit Control position (essential).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Highly organised, proactive and detail‑oriented.
