Credit Hire Solicitor – Motor Litigation (NQ‑4 PQE)

About the role

The pre‑eminent defendant insurance litigation team in Liverpool is seeking a Solicitor (NQ–4 years PQE) to join its growing Motor department, specialising in Credit Hire matters. You will manage your own caseload of litigated credit hire claims, guiding each matter from initial review through to settlement or trial while developing specialist expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a full credit hire claims caseload from inception to resolution.
• Conduct detailed case reviews, prepare pleadings and liaise with parties.
• Represent the firm in settlement negotiations and, where required, at trial.
• Collaborate closely with a supportive team of experienced litigators.
• Develop specialist knowledge in motor litigation and credit hire law.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with NQ to 4 years post‑qualification experience.
• Experience in litigated motor claims, preferably with exposure to credit hire work.
• Strong organisational abilities and a proactive approach.
• Good understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR).
