Credit Trader – Associate (Global Credit Trading)

About the role

Join JPMorgan's Global Credit Trading team in London as a Credit Trader – Associate. You will focus on market making in corporate bonds, managing risk across multiple markets and supporting the firm’s franchise obligations in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Market making in financial corporate bonds.
• Manage strategic risk around client flows and orders.
• Maintain strong client focus and manage relationships with institutional investors.
• Collaborate closely with EMEA and global sales teams to grow the business.
• Provide execution and risk‑management services to money managers, banks, insurance companies, and pension funds.

Required profile

• Substantial trading experience with a consistently strong P&L track record.
• Ability to assess and understand risk around trading positions and market events.
• Comfort with competitive pressures and a client‑centric mindset.
• Maturity to succeed in a fast‑paced, open environment.
• Attention to detail, adaptability, and eagerness to learn.
• Effective teamwork skills.
