About the role

G2 Legal Limited is seeking a dedicated Criminal Duty Solicitor to join its supportive team in Bognor Regis. The position offers a varied workload, balancing Legal Aid cases on the Chichester and Worthing rota schemes with private, fee‑paying client matters.

Key responsibilities

• Handle Legal Aid criminal cases as part of the Chichester and Worthing rota schemes.
• Provide advice and representation to private, fee‑paying clients.
• Undertake training in regulatory law to represent police officers in internal tribunal procedures.
• Maintain accurate case records and comply with all regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor (newly qualified or experienced).
• Strong interest in criminal law and regulatory matters.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality legal support.
• Willingness to develop higher rights of audience, though not essential.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Criminal Law and Legal Aid processes.
• Understanding of regulatory law relating to police tribunals.
