CSA Design Manager

About the role

Join a leading international main contractor on one of the UK's most technically challenging construction developments. As a CSA Design Manager you will oversee civil, structural and architectural design from pre‑construction through to completion, providing long‑term stability and clear progression pathways.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the civil, structural and architectural design process throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate consultants, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure successful design delivery.
• Review drawings, technical submissions and design information for quality and compliance.
• Maintain design programmes and ensure milestones are met.
• Manage design interfaces between CSA, MEP and construction teams.
• Support design workshops, value engineering and technical problem‑solving.

Required profile

• Previous experience with a main or specialist contractor on major construction projects.
• Strong understanding of civil, structural or architectural design coordination.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple design packages in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to work full‑time on site, Monday‑Friday.
