CSCS Labourer – Construction Site Support

About the role

Hays Recruitment is partnering with a well‑established contractor on a busy construction project in Cambridge (CB2). They are seeking reliable CSCS‑qualified labourers for ongoing, long‑term work supporting site operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general labour duties across the construction site.
• Assist tradespeople with daily activities and material handling.
• Move equipment and supplies safely around the site.
• Maintain clean, tidy, and hazard‑free work areas.
• Carry out site clearance, waste management, and basic health‑safety compliance.
• Support the site management team as required.

Required profile

• Valid CSCS Card (essential).
• Previous experience on construction sites.
• Strong work ethic, reliability and ability to work as part of a team.
• Good understanding of site health and safety regulations.
• Own transport is beneficial but not mandatory.

Required skills

• CSCS Card certification.
