CSE Solution Engineer – Lift & Escalators

About the role

The Customer Solutions Engineer (CSE) will provide technical support to KONE’s sales team, developing and delivering lift and escalator solutions that meet customer requirements across the Liverpool and Manchester region. Based in Warrington, you will own the order handling process from specification through to installation planning.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse customer technical needs and create proposals, specifications, CAD and layout drawings, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and consultants during planning and specification meetings.
• Provide technical and costing support throughout the sales process and ensure solutions comply with codes, regulations and safety standards.
• Manage technical site surveys, material specifications, purchasing, and project documentation to keep projects on schedule.
• Support handover to operations and adhere to KONE’s ISO procedures.

Required profile

• Engineering or technical background, preferably a diploma/degree in mechanical engineering.
• Excellent communication skills and strong customer focus.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and pay close attention to detail.
• Valid driving licence.

Required skills

• Basic AutoCAD (training provided).
• Revit and Navisworks experience (desirable).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
• General IT literacy.
