Custody Asset Servicing Associate – German Language

About the role

The Custody Asset Servicing Associate with German will join the Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS) team in Bournemouth. You will be responsible for processing unit dealing activity for German and Swiss special funds as well as German public funds, supporting the broader Custody Operations function.

Key responsibilities

• Capture and process clients' unit dealing activity for German and Swiss special funds and German public funds accurately and within agreed timelines.
• Build and maintain strong internal relationships with colleagues in Bournemouth and global Custody stakeholders.
• Provide operational subject‑matter expertise, conduct root‑cause analysis and implement sustainable fixes.
• Identify and drive process‑enhancement opportunities to improve quality, efficiency and client experience.
• Support other Custody Operations teams as required based on workload and business priorities.
• Participate in project‑related tasks such as migrations, change initiatives and process reviews.

Required profile

• Proven track record in operations within financial services, preferably in trade settlement, cash operations or asset servicing.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and control.
• Excellent prioritisation, planning and time‑management skills to meet competing deadlines.
• Effective interpersonal and communication abilities for internal and external stakeholder interaction.
• Proactive, analytical, self‑motivated and flexible mindset.
• Fluency in German and proficient English for a global environment.

Required skills

• Operational knowledge of trade settlement, cash operations or asset servicing processes.
