Custody Asset Servicing Senior Associate

About the role

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Custody Asset Servicing Senior Associate to join its Institutional Shareholder Services team in Bournemouth. The role focuses on processing unit dealing activity for German and Swiss special funds and German public funds, working closely with the ISS team in Frankfurt and other global custody teams.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate completion of controls, checks, instructions and queries related to unit dealing activity.
• Build strong internal relationships with colleagues in Bournemouth and globally, managing group email boxes and enquiry tools to meet service level expectations.
• Collaborate with product, network management, sub‑custodians and vendors to resolve day‑to‑day operational issues.
• Manage individual workload to meet team and departmental deadlines, reviewing and updating processes to minimise risk.
• Provide support, guidance and training to team members to enhance the global client experience.
• Assist the Senior Manager in day‑to‑day instruction management and workload balancing.
• Review manual controls for timely execution and accuracy.

Required profile

• Background in financial services, preferably within custody or securities services.
• Proven experience working in a risk‑based environment with a track record of risk reduction.
• Demonstrated strategic and analytical thinking with results‑oriented experience.
• Ability to adapt to changing environments and implement new processes efficiently.
• Strong oral and written communication skills for interaction with management, clients and colleagues.

Required skills

• German language proficiency.
