Customer Account Manager

About the role

Butler Rose is seeking an experienced Customer Account Manager to join its growing team in Ulverston. The role focuses on building long-term partnerships with high-profile clients, acting as a trusted advisor and main point of contact throughout the customer journey.

Key responsibilities

• Own strategic client accounts, serving as the primary contact and trusted partner.
• Lead client-focused projects, ensuring requirements are captured, communicated and delivered across operations, marketing, design and logistics teams.
• Support onboarding of new clients and continuously improve the customer journey.
• Anticipate challenges and provide proactive solutions that balance client expectations with business objectives.
• Meet regularly with clients, both virtually and face-to-face, to review performance, explore opportunities and strengthen relationships.
• Maintain accurate records, produce reports on account performance, project progress and growth opportunities.
• Represent the business at client sites, events and industry forums in the UK and internationally.

Required profile

• Professional communicator with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive, solution-focused mindset with high attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across functions.
• Willingness to travel, including overnight stays, and hold a valid UK driving licence.
