Customer Account Manager

About the role

This hands‑on, people‑first position is focused on delivering exceptional service to a portfolio of manufacturing clients. You will own each order from placement through delivery and provide attentive after‑care, building trusted, long‑term relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, fostering trusted relationships.
• Process customer orders accurately, keeping clients informed throughout the order‑to‑delivery cycle.
• Proactively resolve any issues before they impact the customer.
• Provide after‑sales support, handling queries, concerns and follow‑ups with professionalism.
• Liaise with logistics, production and operations teams to meet client expectations.
• Capture and act on customer feedback to drive internal service improvements.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records in the CRM system.
• Prepare quotes, reports and client‑facing documentation as required.
• Support the wider team with account administration and ad‑hoc tasks.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an Account Manager, Customer Service or Sales Support role within a manufacturing or product‑distribution environment.
• Proven ability to manage the full lifecycle of a customer order, from processing to delivery and after‑care.
• Exceptional customer‑service mindset – warm, professional, patient and solutions‑focused.
• Natural relationship‑builder who is reliable, responsive and takes pride in client satisfaction.
• Ability to juggle multiple accounts and priorities while staying calm under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficient use of a CRM system for account management and record keeping.
