Customer Advisor – Network Enquiries (Part‑time)

About the role

United Utilities is seeking enthusiastic Customer Advisors to join its Network Enquiries team in Warrington. Working on‑site, you will provide friendly, high‑quality support to customers experiencing water or wastewater issues, helping to keep the North West flowing smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Answer customer contacts via telephone, web‑chat and email, delivering clear and helpful information.
• Resolve a wide range of water and wastewater enquiries, from individual household problems to large‑scale incidents.
• Set realistic expectations and reduce repeat contacts by explaining end‑to‑end processes.
• Identify vulnerable customers and enrol them in the free Priority Services scheme.
• Escalate complex cases and coordinate follow‑up actions where required.

Required profile

• At least 12 months of customer service experience.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Commitment to delivering first‑time resolution and a positive customer experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
