Customer Assistant – Flexible 40‑hour Club Role

About the role

Join BUZZ Bingo’s Meadowbank Club as a Customer Assistant, working a flexible 40‑hour week across evenings and weekends. You’ll be the first point of contact for guests, delivering friendly, personalised service in a lively bingo environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build rapport with customers and ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
• Assist across all club areas – front of house, ticket sales, treasury, bar, kitchen and general housekeeping.
• Maintain high standards of presentation, including cleanliness of facilities.
• Support safe gambling practices both on‑site and online.
• Handle cash transactions and basic numeracy tasks accurately.
• Follow line‑manager instructions and contribute to team goals.

Required profile

• Experience delivering face‑to‑face customer service, preferably in hospitality, retail or leisure.
• Strong communication skills adaptable to different situations.
• Confidence in challenging non‑compliant behaviour and upholding company policies.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
