About the role

Join the Operations team at M&S in Bristol’s Cabot Circus as a Customer Assistant. This physically demanding, high‑intensity position keeps the store running smoothly by handling stock, deliveries and all behind‑the‑scenes activities.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and process deliveries, ensuring accurate stock placement.
• Maintain a clean, well‑stocked shop floor ready for customers.
• Use digital tools to track deliveries and manage inventory efficiently.
• Adapt quickly to shifting priorities, covering early‑morning deliveries and late‑day stock movements.
• Support colleagues across different store functions as needed.

Required profile

• Willingness to work early mornings and unsocial hours (22:00‑06:00).
• Physically fit for a fast‑paced, demanding environment.
• Under 18 not eligible due to health and safety regulations.
• Flexible, able to move between store areas and adjust to changing schedules.
• Team‑oriented with a proactive, purpose‑driven attitude.
