Customer Assistant - Part Time Retail Assistant

About the role

Sainsbury's is hiring a part-time Customer Assistant for its Dulwich store in London (SE22 8BB) on a fixed-term assignment. The rate is £14.54 per hour, for 12 hours per week, with a contract ending on 9 January 2027. Shifts are planned within the availability window shown and shared three weeks in advance.

Key responsibilities

• Put customers first with thoughtful, friendly and helpful service
• Help customers wherever needed, such as filling shelves, picking orders, serving customers and selling products
• Use digital tools to do the job well and improve the customer experience
• Organise and move stock, keep shelves tidy and clean, and move heavy loads to the right store locations
• Build knowledge of products, services and promotions to recommend them confidently

Required profile

• Above the school-leaving age in your country
• Right to work in the UK
• Friendly, enthusiastic about helping customers and able to thrive in a fast-paced, physical environment
• Team player who is flexible and open to learning new digital tools
