Customer Assistant – Scanning

About the role

Morrisons is seeking friendly, reliable Customer Assistants to work on the scanning team at the Kings Road store in Newark‑on‑Trent. You will support various store areas in a fast‑paced, structured environment, ensuring customers receive the products they need quickly and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers across the store, handling queries and ensuring smooth checkout processes.
• Operate scanning equipment safely and follow established store routines and timed activities.
• Support different store sections as needed, adapting to busy periods and maintaining high service standards.

Required profile

• Helpful and friendly attitude with a passion for putting customers first.
• Enjoys staying active, working hands‑on in a busy, structured environment.
• Comfortable using equipment safely and following set processes.

Required skills

• Ability to operate scanning and checkout equipment safely.
• Following health and safety procedures and store processes accurately.
