Customer Assistant – Service

About the role

Join the Service team at Morrisons and be the friendly face that welcomes customers at check‑outs, self‑serve tills and kiosks. You will ensure smooth transactions, provide helpful assistance and support other store areas when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers at check‑outs, self‑serve tills and kiosks, processing transactions accurately.
• Deliver a positive, welcoming experience that leaves customers feeling valued.
• Support additional store sections such as Market Street and Replenishment teams.
• Follow health and safety procedures and operate equipment safely.
• Resolve customer queries promptly and courteously.

Required profile

• Helpful, friendly and approachable attitude.
• Enjoys staying active and working hands‑on in a busy environment.
• Comfortable using equipment safely and following established processes.
• Committed to putting customers first and resolving their concerns.
• Must be over the school‑leaver age; some roles require candidates to be 18 or older.
