Customer Care Agent – Mid Kent

About the role

We are seeking a confident and proactive Customer Care Agent to join our client’s team in Mid Kent on a full‑time, office‑based basis. You will work across departments to handle first‑line enquiries, support national account operations and ensure orders are processed accurately and on time.

Key responsibilities

• Handle customer queries and complaints via phone and email, delivering swift and effective resolutions.
• Support national account operations, ensuring all orders are fulfilled accurately and on schedule.
• Use internal systems daily (CRM, order portals) to maintain accurate customer data and order flow.
• Collaborate with Key Account Managers to identify and address issues that could impact service.
• Meet daily targets and service level agreements by managing and prioritising workload.
• Provide feedback to improve customer experience and internal processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in customer service, preferably in B2B or sales administration.
• Confident phone communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
• Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Customer‑first mindset with the ability to represent client needs internally.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM platforms such as Hubspot, Salesforce or Zendesk.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
