Customer Care Coordinator

About the role

The Customer Care Coordinator will be the primary point of contact for homeowners once their new home has reached legal completion. Based in the Berkhamsted office, you will ensure a smooth after‑care experience by coordinating repairs, handling enquiries and maintaining high levels of satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for homeowners after legal completion.
• Log, prioritise and coordinate customer defects and maintenance requests.
• Schedule subcontractors and site teams to carry out remedial works.
• Monitor outstanding jobs to meet service‑level targets.
• Maintain regular communication with customers throughout the repair process.
• Collaborate with Construction, Technical and Commercial teams to resolve issues.
• Record all activities accurately in the company’s customer‑care system.
• Support the business in achieving excellent customer‑satisfaction scores.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Customer Care Coordinator, After‑care Coordinator, Customer Service Coordinator or Repairs Coordinator within housebuilding, residential construction or property sectors.
• Proven ability to manage multiple enquiries and coordinate with internal and external parties.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
