Customer Contact Specialist – Healthcare Services

About the role

Randstad is seeking a motivated Customer Contact Specialist to join a leading provider of occupational health services. Based in Abingdon, you will deliver professional support to customers via phone and email, ensuring a high‑quality experience throughout the booking and clinic coordination process.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries by phone and email with professionalism and empathy.
• Manage bookings for occupational health services, guiding customers through each step.
• Open and maintain clinic schedules, source resources and ensure appointments are accurately set.
• Liaise with third‑party providers to guarantee smooth clinic operations.
• Act as the primary link between customers and internal teams such as Clinical and Laboratory, facilitating clear communication.
• Follow standard operating procedures, meet SLAs and KPIs, and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Perform general administrative duties to support day‑to‑day operations.
• Assist the wider team with additional tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Educated to national standards with strong written and oral communication skills.
• Previous experience in a customer‑service environment is desirable.
• Ability to solve problems, prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a commitment to quality.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with Salesforce is a plus.

• 12‑month fixed‑term contract with a competitive salary of £29,250 per annum.
